On Friday 1st July 2022 clinical commissioning groups (CCG's) across the country were closed and were replaced by new NHS organisations known as Integrated Care Boards.

Therefore, NHS East Lancashire CCG no longer exists and has been replaced (along with the othe seven CCGs in Lancashire and South Cumbria) by the new NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB)

Royal College of GPs

The following is a link to a Mental Health Toolkit for GPs. It was developed by the Royal College of General Practitioners and is a free resource. It is an all age resource and includes a detailed section relating to the mental health of children and young people. The toolkit provides GPs with resources to help engage with, and assess young people and also provides links to resources that children young people and their families can access as part of self-care including MindEd, Youth Health, Young Minds, — guidance for commissioners is also included.




This is a free educational resource on children and young people’s mental health for all adults. It offers hints and tips on parenting, online advice and information from trusted sources to help families understand and identify early issues and the best support for their child.

MindEd for professionals and volunteers has an e-learning applicable across health, social care, education, criminal justice and community settings and is aimed at anyone from beginner to specialist.
