Complementary and facial nerve policies

Have your say

As part of the ongoing review of clinical policies for all the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Lancashire and South Cumbria, we are now seeking feedback on the two latest policies to be reviewed or developed.

The 8 CCGs across Lancashire agreed that there was a need to review and where necessary update or revise their clinical policies.
We are now seeking views and comments from patients, the public and other stakeholders.

The latest draft clinical policies open for patient and public feedback are as follows:

• policy for complementary and alternative therapies
• new draft policy for rehabilitation after damage to the facial nerve

The draft policies can be found below. You are invited to read the revised clinical policies before giving your feedback. You can click on the link next to each policy in order to complete a short survey and give your views.

To help you we have also included a Level of Change document that identifies what has been changed in the updated policy compared to the previous policy (complementary and alternative therapies only).

There is also a Frequently Asked Questions document that may answer any queries you have about the process or about these policies.

Your comments will be fed back to the CCG as part of the development process.

Comments on these policies should be submitted by Friday 27 October 2017.

If you would prefer to have a hard-copy of the policy and/or of the survey questionnaire please contact the CCG using the contact page on this website or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 01772 214244.
