COVID-19 update – Governing Body Meetings

Whilst under normal circumstances the public are able to attend our Part 1 Governing Body meeting which is held in public, Government social isolation requirements constitute ‘special reasons’ to avoid face to face gatherings as permitted by legislation, therefore until further notice all Governing Body meetings will be held virtually by default.

Governing Body meetings are currently taking place virtually via Microsoft Teams. If any members of the public have access to Microsoft Teams and wish to use this facility to dial in to Part 1 of the meeting as an observer, please contact Pauline Jones via email: This email address is being protected from spambots. Regarding public questions, we are happy to continue to take any questions received electronically at the end of Part 1 of the meeting, however we may need to defer any questions should the focus of the meeting need to be prioritised in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Please submit any advance questions within 5 working days of board meetings by e-mail to:   This email address is being protected from spambots. Part 1 agenda papers and minutes will continue to be published under the relevant meeting date as normal.

Our CCG members – the group of local general practices known as our Council of Members - have delegated responsibility to a Governing Body that ensures we operate efficiently and act in the best interests of the population we serve. The Governing Body will also ensure compliance with the Nolan principles of good governance (selflessness, honesty, objectivity, openness, leadership, accountability and integrity).
